President approved Law on the Size of the Armed Forces of Ukraine up to 250 thousand people

President Petro Poroshenko has signed Law "On the Size of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" adopted by Verkhovna Rada on March 5.

Law №235-VIII stipulates that the size of the AFU shouldn't exceed 250 thousand people, including 204 thousand servicemen. In extraordinary period, the size of the AFU shall be increased for the number of people conscripted pursuant to regulations on mobilization.
