IMF confirms its participation in Ukraine's meeting with creditors

The International Monetary Fund has officially confirmed that its representatives will participate in the technical meeting of the Ukrainian government representatives with the creditors, which is scheduled for June 30 in the US capital.

IMF spokesman Gerry Rice said this at a briefing on Thursday.
"I can confirm that the IMF representatives will take part in the technical meeting of the so-called special committee of owners of Ukrainian bonds and the Ukrainian government, which will take place in Washington on Tuesday, June 30," he said.

He noted that the IMF did not organize the meeting, that's why he did not know any details of the meeting.
At the same time, Rice noted that the IMF "supports discussions on debt restructuring in order to resume Ukraine's debt endurance." He once again stressed that it was very important within the IMF program.
