Situation Update, east of Ukraine as of morning, January 24, 2016

According to the press centre of the ‘anti-terror’ operation (ATO) HQ, the enemy has violated the ceasefire for 51 times over the past 24 hours. Two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded.
Occupants shelled the Ukrainian positions near Krasnohorivka, Marinka, and Shyrokyne with 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Talakivka, Novotroitske, Shyrokyne, Vodyane, and Lebedynske with grenade launchers and small arms. Enemy’s snipers targeted the Ukrainian positions near Novotroitske and Shyrokyne.

Militants fired 122 mm artillery, 120 mm and 82 mm mortars on Troitske, mortars on Novozvanivka and Popasna, grenade launchers, heavy machineguns, and small arms on Krymske, Troitske, Novozvanivka, Novooleksandrivka, and Stanytsia Luhanska.
The Russian occupational troops used 120 mm mortars against Luhanske, grenade launchers and small arms against Avdiivka, Zaitseve, and Opytne, BMP armament against Luhanske. An enemy’s sniper targeted the Ukrainian positions near Pisky.
